Lauren James scores incredible goal vs AS Roma

 Chelsea Women were back in action on Sunday evening at Kingsmeadow after a long timeout due to the just concluded Women's World Cup. 

AS Roma struck first with an early goal in the 7th minute, even doubling their lead before two goals from Guro Reiten and Lauren James leveled both sides just before half-time. 

A third goal from Beever-Jones sealed the winner for the Blues. 

Of all three goals scored by the Blues, Lauren James' goal was the highlight of the match as it was beautifully crafted. She was also congratulated by her teammates on the goal. 

James drove at the heart of Roma backline and, from at least 25 yards out, whipped a dipping strike over Camelia Caesar and in off the underside of the crossbar. In a half of high-quality goals, this was the pick of the bunch.
